This impresses me as a pretty good deal that just popped up on CraigsList for Lexington, KY. If you are within striking distance of London, KY (southern Ky, on I-75) you might be interested:

Snap-On Tool box (top and bottom box) - $500 (London, KY)

5' tall. 40" wide. Lime green in color. $500.00. 606-682-0577.

Yeah, it does put me in the mind of disco with that lime green. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks to have a general air of griminess about it, too. But I would still be interested in traveling 60 miles south if I needed a box, and I don't even worship at the altar of SO.

At first I thought it was a SO box somehow tied to KY Jelly. Shows where my mind is...:wtf:

Of course that is what SO Dealers use on you when they sell the box isn't it?

That's incredibly cheap. I wonder what the catch is. I know the color isn't most people's cup of tea...but that's still too cheap.

I wonder if there's money owed on it. :shocking:

SO boxes come up pretty regularly on the Lex. Craigslist, but they're often the same boxes relisted every two or so weeks for about 60-90% of what they list for on the website. They are usually pretty crispy, too, but I imagine a young tech has bought them with a school discount, then didn't find the trade working out for him and wants to cash out, maybe even make a profit on his box (sounds vaguely naughty and transgender, doesn't it).

I keep lurking CL in hopes of finding a good mig deal. I did acquire a nearly new CH 60 gal. compressor right before Christmas for $200.
