Hi yall, I really am from Alabama, couldn't even spell lower correctly! "Pictures posted below" I haven't posted much on here but have lurked for years. We recently purchased a house and I was lucky enough to get a 3 car garage. I do some amateur woodworking, boxing, and do most of our automotive maintenance. I have a dart board and fully stocked fridge! I just got through refinishing some old rusted metal steel stands and they came out nice. Just used a wire brush and Valspar tractor paint with hardener, that stuff is awesome for the price.

I'll let yall see what I am running into. I have some questions as I am pretty broke. I am going to Sheetrock the ceilings around the outside and leave the middle open so I can stack stuff in there because I can't put a floor in there for an attic due to the expansive truss system. I plan on using plywood around the outside ceiling underneath the Sheetrock so I can stack stuff on top of that.

I figure sheet rocking and supplies will run about 200. I am planning on picking up some epoxy for the floor from a big box store because I can't afford what yall have and was looking for a good recommendation. I plan on going with a blue and white theme as its already there and red Alabama workbench as I have milwaukee, husky, and craftsman stuff galore. A picture is worth a thousand words and feel free to criticize or give me ideas/advice.

Sincerely,

Brad

Welcome from south alabama

Orange Beach. If you haven't lived there long learn where the tidal surge is and plan accordingly. The contents of my uncles house ended up in Little Lagoon after Ivan.

Wow....that's a lot of stuff! I do not have a suggestion for a floor product from a 'box' store but I do know that your results will depend on your preperation before hand....just like most things in life. Preperation. Good luck.

I just wanted to say thanks yall I appreciate it. I am on a higher elevation site over on perdido but I am also insanely worried about the salt spray. I am not new to the area and have already noticed tools rusting up insanely fast. I am thinking of using tractor paint and then coating stuff with the plasti dip and using old diesel and 3n1 a lot.

The stuff is being moved out right now, have moved a lot of it out of the way. Will try and keep yall updated with pictures should have a lot more this upcoming week. This heat is pretty bad right now and should be doing the epoxy next week. Thank you for the advice on prep Burke, I am going to do a degreasing and pressure washing Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
