Anyone have any experience with these mixes from LaFarge?

Extensia™: innovative technology in
low shrinkage concrete for commercial
and industrial floors.
Application
Extensia is a low shrinkage concrete for use in slab on grade
applications, with joint spacing at 60 ft x 60 ft (3600 SF),
with controlled cracking without the inclusion of mesh or
steel fibers.
Advantages
Extensia is a well adapted solution for commercial/industrial slabs
allowing for improved performance through:
Increased flexibility in floor design: the mechanical and
shrinkage properties of Extensia™ allow design of thinner
unreinforced slabs, with increased joint spacing.
Rapid execution of floor construction: the floor construction
sequence can be shortened with Extensia™, mainly due to
the possibility of early power trowelling of the surface and
early cutting of joints.
Early loading up to 14 days: due to its superior
mechanical performance
Reduction in joint construction/maintenance costs: increased
joint spacing and reduced joint curling at the joint combined
with improved durability and abrasion resistance allow for
substantial cost savings.

No bites?

The reason I am asking, is due to the advertised: "Extensia is a low shrinkage concrete for use in slab on grade
applications, with joint spacing at 60 ft x 60 ft (3600 SF),
with controlled cracking without the inclusion of mesh or
steel fibers.

The lack of expansion joints is intriguing...

A quality sized 60x60ft garage with a 6" slab on grade would yield about 51m^3 of concrete. When you go from standard mix concrete to the Extensia product, you're begging for big price increases. This is even with reinforcement included in the price. That being said, the concrete upcharge might be upwards of $2,500 for that same 51m^3 (based on $50/m^3 upcharge). Lafarge likes to keep their prices hidden until they know how much their going to actually sell. The more you get, the better the rate becomes. It's definitely pricey but might be worth it to alot of people with money.
