laminate flooring bubbling

I have a locking laminate product on my floor. There is a low clearance bench sitting above a forced air heat register, keeping most of this hot air under the bench. The laminate has bowed up under here. It is bowing as a unit, does not appears to be separating from itself. I placed a couple of 5 gal water buckets on top of it today, absent the bench. Is there a way to take the flex out of this? Possibly seal the edge with silicone to keep the air flow out?
Thanks

Most likely the issue is lack of expansion space at the edges - can you cut some clearance around the floor in this area? Have a hard time thinking that it is just bowing on its own and not pushing against some edge constraints.
