Large 1/2" drive sockets (1-1/4" and up)

Tried searching around for some good larger diameter sockets in 1/2" drive. Seems you either have to go to 3/4" or 1" drive, or buy them individually for the price of my left nut.

Hate having adapters inline, was wondering if there is a 1/2" drive set from 1-1/4 up to 2"?

Worst case, I get a 1" set and put in-line reducers....thought I would ask you guys though.

I have 1/2" up to 1 1/2" which I feel is as big as 1/2" drive should go. At that point the drive tool is really the limiting factor in how much you can pull. I do believe Sunnex has impacts up to at least 2" in 1/2" drive.

You can find them on Amazon. Sunex Tools has them on there.

Also, check with your local industrial supplier. I know that our local metal supplier had some. I recently purchased a 1/2" drive 1-13/16" socket from them. About $24.

1 1/2 is as large as I go, then I step up to 3/4 inch drive

I've got ancient Proto and Williams industrial finish sockets in the larger sizes for 1/2" drive. Most of them live in a "Retirement Community" in my house toolbox, as they hardly get used.
They might have sizes like this available used on E-Bay.

I have miss matched impact sockets 1/2” drive from 3/8” to 1-1/2”

I have 1/4” and 5/16” but I’m pretty sure they are bit holder sockets

I'd look around on CL or whatever for a 3/4 drive set for those larger sizes. Even an import set is likely to be fine.
