Large 1/2" drive sockets

I have a 36mm 1/2" drive Craftsman bought 12 years ago to replace the hubs on a '88 325is that I was driving at the time. Haven't had the need to use it since, but I have a 36mm in 3/4" drive now (bought the Craftsman set when they were clearing them out back in June) so it probably won't get used at all any more. I guess I'll probably sell it to someone needing to satisfy their OCD to fill a Hansen tray.

Other than on feebay, the bigger ones in 1/2 drive are hard to find used. Guys like in 1/2 drive so they can get into tight spots that a 3/4 ratchet wouldn't go.

Everyone knows buying individual sockets is expensive.

Buying individual deep impact sockets is ridiculously expensive !

I believe the hansen tray stops at 27mm after skipping a few sizes.

EDIT: Not strong enough. I HATE 12 POINT SOCKETS !

I hate 12 point sockets too, but I have to question how much engagement a socket needs, when you're looking at a 1 1/4" + size socket, and just a 1/2" size drive.

Sears does make up to 1 1/2" in 1/2" drive 12 point ,not many of the retail stores carry them, I have them . Think I aquired them in a trade, had them forever, think I used them once anything over 1" is 3/4" drive unless the sockets too big to fit in someplace.
