By a series of unlikely events, we’ve just moved into a new house in a new state after 20 years outside of the US. It may finally be time to build the space I’d like to work in.
Fortunately, the house we bought without seeing (though our trusted friends did visit it) has a 1038 square foot attached 2-car, 2-door garage with a 10 foot ceiling, and also a 1029 square foot pole barn. Due to the pole-ish nature of the pole pole barn, it is only ⅓ useful for car storage, but it’s still a great bonus to store everything else that might go in the garage instead.
The ideal end state is for a nice place to keep tools, two cars, and a two-post lift. I’m gonna need some help. Flooring, lift selection, lift placement, and I'm sure more once I get the chance to think about it.
