A serious "ringy".
Part of the “G↑I” collection mentioned previously.
I thought some members might enjoy just the sheer size of these.
I'm thinking of using them as bar-bells..

Check out the floggers/sloggers. These are BIG lumps of metal.
Also some large wrenches.
Careful if you do a net search for "King **** Flogger".
I couldn't hit the close window tab fast enough....

Yeah, careful what you search for on the 'net. At work during a break I decided to search for some tires for a Model T and entered the size, "30x3 1/2" and the warning popped up *********** **** SITE - ACCESS DENIED***.:yikes:
Maybe I'm old and kinda behind the times but I have no idea what 30x3 1/2 has to do with ****. One # I remember but it wasn't 30x3 1/2. Maybe it's the metric equivalent? I guess I don't wanna know.:headscrat

I'm in Five Dock. I'm going to post the lot up in the classifieds as I want my garage back.
We don't have any idea of value really and I think the freight outside of Oz would be prohibitive but we'll give it a go. A collector might only need a few bits to complete a set.
I've also contacted the Heritage Fleet, Australian National Maritime Museum and various Railway and Steamship organisations to see if they want any for an exhibit or to actually use.
The oldest date stamp I've found so far is 1949 but I'm sure the big Snails and others are much older - as in the Accles and Pollard "Ferret" box.
I went to a couple of scrap places yesterday around Milperra and Smithfield as I thought maybe tool steel might be worth a bit. Nup. 6 cents a kilo!
I'll give them away before I do that.
Cheers,
Darby.
