I recently came across a large old Malco set of similar style. They are straight and I thought they were shingle cutters or some other exceedingly boring thing.....But, they are tinsnips and work very well. I've always used Wiss and found the Malco style to be very handy for all sorts of stuff. Replaceable blades too.
