I have Chrome sockets up to 26mm and Impact up to 34mm. Does anyone recommend having anything larger for Chrome (Hand) that you may come across?

I have wrenches up to 34mm, FYI.

Do you see any fasteners you may need to remove that are larger than the two sizes you listed? If not, I wouldn't bother getting any more except possibly axle nut sockets.

I would get 27 29 30 32 34 35 36 in chrome, if got coverage in impacts it no such a must but sometimes slimmer socket and bi-hex only one that will fit .
Not over expensive buy half decent chromes new or used, sort of thing that can be found at yard sales or odd socket buckets for next to nothing .

34,35,36mm are popular axle nut sockets. I prefer chrome for those but impacts work just fine. talking deep of course.

Typically the large nuts/bolts don't have as many size/obstruction issues when it comes to thickness of the socket like the smaller fasteners do. I've never once had an issue using my impacts sockets for the larger fasteners.

I have 24, 27, 30 and 32. These are the standard sizes in both ISO and DIN metric, and I hardly ever use Japanese sizes, so these do most of what I need in metric!

I tend to use the bigger sizes for things like hub nuts. Yes, a 3/4 drive would be better, but it’s surprising how often you don’t have the clearance. Mini’s spring to mind, but there are others.

I tend to do a lot of work on machine tools, and those 4 sizes, together with a my set of 10 to 22, do just about everything!

To be honest aside from a few oddball applications, I think you could get by with impact sockets only in the larger sizes. I know I have.
