large water fire extinguiser

Could a oxygen tank be converted to a water fire extinguisher? I have a bunch of 2.5 gallon water fire extinguisher that I use on various pieces of equipment they are mostly amerex and badger brands. You fill with water and pressurize with air to 100psi and you have a good fire extinguiser. I was wondering if a oxygen tank could be converted using the same principle --- fill part way with water and pressurize? Has any one done this? Obvioulsy it would be very heavy but I was thinking strapped into the bed of pickup securely might be a nice addition for fire season?

Don’t see why not if you have the fittings, of course you would eventually worry about rust if steel.
I have one, a curb find, holds pressure fine.

All of the 2.5 gal. extinguishers I have seen are stainless steel....therefor rust proof...
the oxygen cylinder will be very heavy and hard to handle as you said and you will run into rust problems....
best to just carry 3 or 4 of the regular water extinguishers....

The water/air extinguishers also work real well to run off ***** tom cats trying to molest my female....

Get an indian sprayer, more water and no need to pressurize the tank.

Or get a Cornelius keg and pressurize the tank.
