hello to the garage journal members. This will be my first post on this site. I have a larin suv 7000 floor jack. It would not rise under a load so a friend looked at it for me. It will now rise with a load but the foot pump will not work. I contacted larin, but they faxed me a user manual, that dont really help. I think the parts were not reinstalled correctly. does any one know about these jacks. thank you in advance.

I'm not familiar with the model, but there is only a handful of foot operated short jack styles out there, 1 is attached to the lift arm and the other is connected to the pump piston. Based off the quick googling it appears your is the latter, what exactly is it not doing? It sounds like its operating off the handle, is the foot pedal connected?

The jack was taken apart before I could get to it. Now it will not do anything. I looked in the drain pan and found a small steel ball. I have tried to look for a parts list diagram, but have had no luck. I have mic ed all the steel balls and have them sepperated but I can only guess were they go. would you have a diagram for this two piston jack?. It was a good jack till this all happened. The two larger balls are the only ones I know were they go. Wish I were there to see it come apart the first time.

OK I got this thing figured out. If any one else has a jack like this maybe this will help. I don't want to take this apart for pics. so here we go.
From left to right there are five holes, the middle one being the pressure relief valve.
1.The first hole uses the smallest ball, that measured 3.94. very small don't loose it. that goes in first then the steal ball guard then the spring, then the first screw then the second screw with O ring.
2. The second hole uses three balls. the one that measured 5.49, then 7.93 then the big one 9.97 then the allen head screw
3. This is the middle one. it takes only one ball that measured 7.93 then the release valve screw.
4. The 4th hole use balls 5.49,7.93, and 9.97 then the allen head screw. Same as hole number 2.
5. The 5th hole uses 7.13 then the spring the she first screw then the second screw with O-ring, much like hole one.
With hole 1 and 5 you will have to use a bench press or some other device to measure your limits for the jacks capability. There will be a mess so make sure you use all your PPE. IE safety glasses gloves and what ever to protect your cloths if you don't want to get dirty. Thank you guys for your help on this forum site.
