I was contacted by Larrysctt on here via message and got the email notification. Larry said he had a friend with a 13/16” wrench I have been looking for. The email he gave me is [email protected] I proceeded to email and was told for $70 the wrench could be mine. I politely declined as I felt it was a scam. I came back to GJ to let Larry know I declined his friends offer. However, the message is gone as is Larry. I can’t seem to find him. Hopefully he isn’t a legit user. The name on the email is Scott Jones. Very fishy imo.

I received a notification in my email for berryalex1224 and it stated a conversation had been started. But I am not seeing a berryalex1224 on this forum. Likely another fraud attempt. When I go to my PM's, there is no history of a conversation with berryalex1224. As info.

Any time I get a first name and a string of numbers behind it I immediately think Scam-o-matic... we got hit by a group of those on another group I'm moderator of, and yeah, 99 2/5ths othem were scamsters. One was a prisoner in Texas who had access to email (apparently he was a trusty who did admin work for the prison), and had a series of scams going with his alleged girlfriend. When he got found out his "deals" dried up, he and his string of "girlfriends" did as well...
