Las Vegas "3" car Cave

So I current live in N. Las Vegas. As anyone that has felt with the housing market here, will tell you; its not cheap for a "real" garage. A lil over 2 yrs ago the family and i moved back to Vegas so i can retire from the Air Force here. (meet wife here 10 yrs ago so she wanted to move back). So we looked for a house for 2 yrs that met our requirements. One being at a min. 3 car garage. So after bidding on 10'ish houses, waiting almost a year for a short sale. We lucked up and our realtor found a house being sold by a co worker that met 90% of our needs. No after living with our in-laws for over 18 months (wife was there a year longer while i did a year over seas) we were ready to give up a lil to have our own spot. So the pool was off the list.

So what we got was a house that the price dropped 50K over 7 months due to the previous owner having to pcs to the east coast. Well for a great deal we got a decent house with a "3" car garage. (only thing that matters for this forum). Its actually a dual with one side being a tandem.



Now i know everyone likes pics so in a couple hours i will post up the ones i have with a lil list of things done over the past year.

I did 3 1/2 years at Nellis in the 57th AMXS. It was a good time. The housing market was different then though. It was the middle of the recession and 1 in 3 houses in North Las Vegas was vacant. It seems to have rebounded well though.
I rented half a house there (2 bedrooms a bath and the whole garage) and the biggest thing I can tell you is to get an insulated aluminum garage door with no windows in it. My garage faced west and in the afternoons you could grill steaks on the inside of the door.
