Can anyone recommend a quality Laser Distance Measurer. It will be used for calculating areas of large building floors and needs to have a minimum distance of 250 ft.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I've used the Bosch ones a time or two and they seem very nice. Appeared to be accurate enough for my purposes (general measuring of rooms) but I'm not sure if accuracy gets worse over longer distances.

I used a more simple version but this looks awesome:

syncs to your smartphone and takes a picture with measurements. yes please!

I have a Bosch GLM80 that works quite well. It has a lot of good, useful features. The battery lasts seemingly forever.

What about a rangefinder? Don't know how accurate it needs to be but most decent rangefinders are accurate to a yard or 2 at that distance. Can find good ones on sale for $100-$200.

I've had a Hilti for 7 or 8 years and love its accuracy. Manual says the range is over 600' but for practical purposes the best I've ever needed / used it for was around 300'. Mine is long discontinued but the current model that comes closest looks to be the PD-E.
