I've got me more than a few.....laser levels. PLS, Bosch 360 Green, Milwaukee 360 Green, and a Leica Rotary.....

Been obsessing on setups and mounts. My primary is the Milwaukee Rod and Huepar Fine Tuning mount (let's me dial adjustments vert and horizontal).

For those in the same boat, do you have any must have Laser Mounts.....that I should add to my stash, The Bosch mount one I use in very rough work......only has Vert Adjustment. You

I have 2 Bosch units and use camera tripods. Didn’t want to buy an expensive special tripod to mount a laser level on. In case you are interested, they are Bogen/Manfrotto tripods o bought years ago. There is an adapter that goes from the std 1/4-20 to the big (5/8?) thread the older lasers take.

I generally use a camera tripod for the 3x360 or cross line, but sometimes it's too tall or too short. I want to get something like a fast cap pole that can run floor to ceiling and a mount that let's me set the laser at any point.

For my spectra rotary, the tripod it came with has never been found lacking as the receiver is what needs to be adjustable and that's easily done on the grade stick

Rotary aside, I tried to avoid tripods if given the option. Yes, it's probably nice in vertical and horizontal adjustments but they take up so much room in interior use

I primarily use a Johnson Multifunction mount (40-6304). The mount allows easy vertical adjustment over several inches as well as plumb adj in one plane. This is primarily attached to a tripod, but occasionally I have clamped this to structure, soffits, poles, etc. Definitely has been handy.

Most of my use case is probably 40 feet at most......but I should dig up the specs of the tolerances of each of my lasers just to see how much variation or not , there is in my current crop of lasers...
