That looks horrible! It doesn’t look like that in person. This photo was taken in a sports bar with lots of tvs.

The reflections didn't fool me. If they were from oxidation due to shielding issues, they'd be in different places. To my eye, that looks impressive. What sort of penetration are we talking about though?

Definitely showing discolored on the id. But not burn thru. I haven’t been very involved. Think they are running around 450W with a revolution time of around 15s. With a second pass without the wire feed on.

Can you get a back-purge in there? I'm assuming you're using argon shielding like GTAW, or is this done in a chamber?
Could definitely get a back purge! This is a very old pic has a laser welder on it now IMG_1306.png
