i try to avoid hf but if i need hand tools like right now and have no choice i always pay a little more for pitt. pro as long as it's taiwan.

After my OTC 2304 grease gun failed to work I had to go to HF to get the $14 pistol grip grease gun and it saved the day. Spent 90 minutes trying to fix the OTC without success. The OTC is much sturdier, better built overall, nicer longer hose ... but not working after 2 years.

I'd be afraid the wife would kick me in the nads if I tried to take her to HF just to snag some extra freebies. Jeez, the weekends just aren't that long.

I recently bought a set of transfer punches, parallels, another magnetic dial indicator holder, and the t-handle hex set SAE/Metric with little stand all seem to be great tools. Oh and 3 50 CT packs of red shop rags that were on clearance for 7.99

Before last week, I havent been to a HF in over 20 years.

I've been avoiding the new HF just built in my town. Just for fun I walked in to the new HF, and was impressed by how clean and orderly the store was.

I was impressed enough in thier large 5 drawer tool cart, that I picked up one. Also ordering the bottom 72 tool box. I need a decent box at home. HF is fantastic for home use.
