Hey guys,

This is my new "letter opener". Actually a 3"-damascus blade, 7" Overall. The handle is mokum and spalted maple. The pins are nickle-silver. The knife block was made out of Honduran Rosewood and I initialed a scrap piece of mokum just for fun.

It has a nice feel to it, although it's very heavy for a small knife.

This one got a little pricey before it got done. Supplies from Jantz came in a bit under $200. This was my "no expense spared" hunter. I think my next project will be to make a knife for less than $5. Should be a hoot.

Phil

A lawyer? No. I'm a manager by profession, an engineer by training, and a tinkerer by the grace of God.
