How is that a deal? Retail on the lathe is around $1k. And its a pos Grizzly.

A.) Exactly where did I say it was a deal..???
B.) With tooling it could well be worth what he's asking, you would have to contact the seller to find out...
C.) Its flippin' craigslist! Talk him down!
D.) how was your post usefull in any way to anyone!?

:dunno:

In his defense this thread is called "HOT DEALS" The add advises no low ballers and says nothing about additional tooling. So yeah, should have not been posted here.

I appreciated the post, just in the wrong part of the country for me. Costs $1300 new and shipped from Griz, so this is getting close to half price (and with tooling, even better). The G0602 is one of the more desirable of the "inexpensive" lathes, hardly the "POS" that one poster above contends, unless he's accustomed to working on a Monarch EE or something. Then anything would look like a POS.

I'd be happy to own at G0602 to match my Sieg X3 mill. (Probably also considered "POS" by Bridgeport owners.)

Griping at posters who have not posted a good enough "deal" in your opinion leads to fewer posts to look through. People say, "Why should I post this? I'll just get bitched at," and then nobody benefits.

If you don't think it's a deal, move on to the next thread.

If this were in my town I'd have tried to buy it.
