Nice find Stillgottimefor1. Old lathe legs are nice to have but identifying them to a specific maker from a picture without a few more clues would be very difficult. Those have fairly distinctive characteristics such as Straight outside leg lines, Straight cross brace, slight beading on the perimeters inside the legs, and a gentle recurve on inside leg line near top... Still just looking at a few pics from American Lathe Builders Through the early 1900's those features are fairly common. ATW, Carrol Jamieson, Cincinnati, Davis, and Garvin are just a few possibilities. I would say they were likely from a 12" or 14" lathe though just based on how tall they are and their overall robustness. Heavier lathes had shorter and stouter legs. Smaller and lighter lathe legs are generally more spindly. I do like the more spindly legs for their elegance though. Ed.
