Lathemaster Milling machine

I have a Lathemaster Milling model ZAY7045FG, 2 HP, built in 10/2003 and I need to pull the motor off the gearhead so that I can change the reversing switch. When I get the motor off, I can bring it to the motor shop so that they can wire in the new drum switch. The motor is bolted to the head with 4 bolts, but I don't know what the motor shaft is attached to inside the gear head. I really don't want to just pull the motor off without knowing what is going on inside the gearhead.

If I am not mistaken that is a Rong Fu-45 clone, everyone and their brother imports them. Look at the similar Grizzly model G0484, click on "parts list" and it appears that the motor is just a keyed drive.
