Also totally fair. except to me power feed would more elude to electronic versus motorized. But potato, potahto.

Was reading about Semantic Dementia the other day. The older I get the more word substitution happens.
It's not about what you think it should be called. There are standard terms used when discussing machinery that most others who would help you know, and using those terms will be beneficial in the long term.

I can’t imagine having a lathe without power feed. If I wasn’t able to repair that to working order, I would call that a parts lathe and move on.
