I go by what was on there before. A couple degrees here or there won't make a difference. It's not like you're sharpening a wood chisel or anything critical. If the angle was really small, you'd break a big chunk of blade everytime you hit a rock or stick (never happens right?), so you need at least 30 degrees or so to keep the blade strong behind the cutting edge. What I do notice is the difference between sharp and dull blades.

yeah I notice the difference too... wish my neighbors kid would also, honda harmony with the governor freakin pegged (it's rigged I can tell) and still bogging down in the grass. Blade has gotta be soooo blunt
