Working to get a lawn mower / ATV lift. Most are motorcycle lifts with extensions on either side. Looking for the 42-in height lift, just wondering if anybody has any experience with that and any particular brand?

Yeah next time I'm not sitting in a dark recovery room waiting for my mom to come out of anesthesia I'll do that. Once I saw how fucked up it was of course I changed it, looking for information so I want it to be clear.

I have a forward lift 1000. 48" wide with side extensions, no dropout section like some motorcycle lifts but it only goes like 3ft high , none that I looked at that I could get through Napa went to 48" .

Doesn't take much air to lift my Deere x540. I modified a chopper bike extension on the front to hold and mount my mower jack to, on the table ,so I could raise the mower and clean the deck while it's up.

I use it for everything rather than working on the ground. Roll whatever your working on , on it and get it off the floor

My buddy has a zero turn front end lift similar to the one above. Works great for getting the front end off the ground to hose down the underside of the deck.

I am currently using a make shift solution for walk behind mowers and small snow throwers. 2 aluminum ramps tied together and then tied to one saw horse. Using a rope, get the mower/snow thrower partial up the ramp. I can then lift the low end and place the second saw horse underneath. Not great, but better than a "dead lift" !

maybe we will go back to service pits in the yard. Oh yeah, 42" high. That would be hobbit height. :)

This is the lift I use for motorcycles. I also use it for my JD zero turn mower. It does have the removable side extensions. Even has an extension for the front so I can longer bikes on it. Name brand is Titan. Bight it on ebay. It goes up pretty close to 48" but I've never measured it. Close to waist high on me at 6'. It is rated at 1500lbs but they do make some other ones too. It makes a nice work bench too when it doesn't have anything else on it. A lot engine rebuilds done on it.

Doesn’t work for me. I know what I typed, Apple changes it, or I fat finger, and I don’t catch it until I walk away for a while.

It’s obvious when I come back.

I have a Harbor Freight Hydraulic Lifting Cart. I added an extension to the undercarriage to lengthen it and 34" thick plywood top and a hinged drop gate.
I can drive my scooter up the ramp, then jack the table to a convenient height.

Damn! 34" thick plywood, wow.

That's 47+ layers of 3/4" plywood, not counting any glue layers you used to glue it all up. 🤣

Is that a Ranger? I have one bought used, basically new, while not the cats pajamas it does what I need at home.

Edit; I see it's a Titan, probably the same manufacturer with different name.
