How are you guys laying out outlets when using tin corrugated tin walls?

I want to have the outlets fall on the flat part of the tin.
The tin will come next spring but I will be doing the electrical this summer/fall

I have all my conduit up in the trusses and coming down posts. The transition from the trusses to the walls is a short 5ft length of flexible conduit. That will allow me to move the vertical conduit out of the way when I put the tin up and screwed back into place with minimal effort. Little extra planning doing the layout and stuff, but it will make all the difference when the tin comes.

When wiring my barn I intentionally left the wiring loose so I could adjust the boxes to where I wanted them. Leave yourself some extra wire and you will be able to move them as needed.

So just leave them loose until tin goes on. I was just thinking there would be some trick to avoid that. I was thinking about taking a 2x4 horizontally between the studs. That way I can get the box placed perfectly.

Yes I just lightly nailed mine on to the 2x4 horizontal and then when I got to that sheet, I measured and nailed it tight exactly where I wanted it. I put mine right on the edge of a sheet so it was easy to fit. I had measured but left me some extra wire just in case I needed to move it further.
