Lcd tv in the garage

I think it comes down to the individual. Some might want to just get away from the inside of their house! I for one turn on the jams at all time, even if its under the car using an angle grinder for 5 minutes.

I get what you are saying, I really do, but when your garage/workshop has a television set, a computer, a stereo system, a refrigerator, a microwave, a bathroom, an easy chair, etc, isn't that just like being in the house? Like I said, maybe it is just me, maybe I am the oddball, but I look at a garage/workshop as a place to work on projects. The house is where the television is and the sound system, etc. But everyone has their own ideas as to what they want in their garage/workshop so whatever winds their watch is OK with me.

I get what you are saying, I really do, but when your garage/workshop has a television set, a computer, a stereo system, a refrigerator, a microwave, a bathroom, an easy chair, etc, isn't that just like being in the house? Like I said, maybe it is just me, maybe I am the oddball, but I look at a garage/workshop as a place to work on projects. The house is where the television is and the sound system, etc. But everyone has their own ideas as to what they want in their garage/workshop so whatever winds their watch is OK with me.

I would totally have agreed until last month . My son had an old TV he wanted taken to the tip as it had "burn in" and he got a good deal on a new TV. Long story short ,I had it sitting in my shop ready to tip and decided to plug it in. Works OK. I do not watch a lot of TV niormally anyway. I rarely get to watch my choice of programs in the house ( apparently , it is a democracy and I get out-voted all the time, no-one else wants to watch eg American Pickers or car resto shows. I always hoped for a benign dictatorship scenario with myself as El Presidente but no luck so far.) . So- I can now go to my workshop , watch whatever I want ( sometimes just background noise kinda thing) . Or I can not turn it on or I can turn it off. Just another option.

Seriously though , I do have a small sound system - you totally can NOT hammer on anything with any effect without AC/DC playing in the background.... I mean , c'mon lets be factual here !!!!
