The guy at home Depot said this is the new one and has 2.0 amp batteries ,up from the 1.5
It is 169 at HD but I havent heard if anyone has this one. The guy said the first shipment
had battery problems and they pulled all of them off the shelf but he said all of them are gone and the new batch is good. 30% more battery than the 1.5.
The older one 200 is 199$. I am surprised no one online has reviewed this.
Guess I will wait to hear definitely of quality.

The 2.0Ah batteries came out around this time last year when they released the 4.0Ah batteries. The kit number was CT200RW that included the new 2.0 ones. I had bought a 2 pack of the batteries last september at home depot for $99 and had no problem with them in my impact driver for daily use. On Makita's site I can't find the individual battery (BL1820) or a kit that includes them only a press release on the new batteries. And come to think of it I haven't seen another pack at home depot since I picked up mine.
