I've done a lot of googling, and never seen the following information posted anywhere, so I thought I'd put it here for someone else to find later:
I've tried a couple of different generic replacement cam locks on my 1966 KRA58B that I'm cleaning up, and haven't been happy with the way either of them worked after installed, so I thought I'd just call Snap-On and see if I was lucky.
It seems Snap On has outsourced all of their vintage Snap-On locks of the old flat key style to an outfit called LDD Parts. I haven't found a website for them, but their phone number is 800-558-5986. I spoke to someone yesterday who was reasonably certain that if I'd call back with the numbers from the face of the lock, she could get me what I need. Unfortunately they are unable to look the lock up based solely on the tool box model #.
Anybody have any experience with them?
