Fantastic, cool doors, kingpost construction which I have not seen in a long time, a TL125, a nice big ditch to irritate the missus, and a fine Porsche collection (are you on Rennlist, btw?)!:beer::beer:

This is always a good place to get inspired by what others do...Just beautiful.
...now, out to my garage.

I love posing the question to those with multiple cars...if you had to pick one...which one?

Not on Rennlist unfortunately, but yes a Honda TL125, Ihatovo, one-owner, and pretty much still brand new. Short geared but beautifully minimalist in its design and execution.

I never get tired of this space, I spend most of my weekends in there, nothing like having your own man cave full of things you collected and love:

If I had to keep only one...it would be the slate gray 2.2 S ex Jo Siffert car, but I really enjoy them all, they each have something special I can "connect" with:

Rich, I look forward to meeting you at the Lit & Toy show (Can't wait to see those Porsche table sets)

Where have all the photos gone? All have been replaced, at least on my computer, with a frog in an ice cube and the message "domain unregistered ..."

It was done in the early Sixties by a Porsche apprentice at the factory. I found it at a Porsche Swap meet in Germany. From the numbers, it's a Porsche 356 Carrera gearbox:

Gearboxes are something of a passion of mine. We have a family of transaxles coming out this year...one of which will be getting it's baptism-by-fire in a racing series :bounce:

Very strange. The thumbnails don't show on my computer, just the frog. If I click on the frog, the picture opens in another page, but there is no preview of the picture. I only have this problem with this thread. The other threads seem all right. Hmmm.

But wonderful garage and fantastic cars, Milou.

Amazing garage...
It will inspire me a lot.

I'll also find a 1969 911S that "fits" me.

Thanks,

I sincerely hope that the garage translates my passion for early 911 and Porsche period memorabilia rather than a question of money spent

Here is some recent news:

A rare Porsche dealership sign from the Sixties in NOS condition, including its original crate, I really love its design:

This is the latest project, a 1965 911 complete but in need of restoration, it's number 492. it's Aga blue, a great color:

We enrolled the 911 S/T in the 2010 Coupe des Alpes, a rallye through the Alpes over 3 days driving from Evian to Cannes:

Please post an update and photos of the Aga blue car!

I also finished the restoration of this 1968 911S, matching numbers and original Polo red, a phenomenal car, short wheel base chassis, and a high revving engine with Weber carbs:

I had a 66 that was a barn find. Sold it before I could complete it.

Excellent garage and beautiful cars! One of my favorite garages on the GJ. Love seeing all of the memorabilia and accessories with the cars. :)

Hi everyone,

The new project is the restoration of a one owner 912 from 1966 I purchased in Monterey in 2010. Here are the latest progress:

This is great! Thanks for posting this.

I know that several years ago a lot of europeans were buying early rust free cars in California and taking them back overseas, so much that these cars are becoming harder to find in the US. Is this still the case? In any event I doubt this car could have found a better owner!
