To me the best part of this site is just enjoying the passions of others and seeing the great ideas that everyone has. Well done, both with the cars and the garage.

Love the garage. My son is in the process of building a new house with a garage attached to the house and a seperate race garage in the backyard. He just suggested this site to me so I've been on it for almost three hours now. The race garage has a concrete floor and is closed in except for the doors. Also needs the shingles. We were very limited on the amount of floor space allowed by Arlington County so we are looking for unique ideas. We will have a lift on one side and the other side has a lower ceiling and will have storage above with an outside srairway for access. We are hoping for a movein date in late March or early April. My son and I will be dong all the finish work inside including electraical, heating, insulation and installing a "Rocksolid" floor. We had an opportunity to visit their booth at the PRI show two days ago.

After several years of collecting Classic 911 and Porsche Automobilia, I've decided to move on and part with the collection  :

The catalogue has just come out:

They did a nice job with the catalog. Did you ever think of publishing a book about your collection? It's gotta be one of the most extensive collections of Porsche memorabilia out there?

Amazing garage BTW.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the members of the garage journal for your support and your contribution to the sale.

I was thrilled by the results and happy to see that the Milou Collection raised so much interest. The race-related brochures and manuals went through the roof and so did the dealership signs and the Porsche luggage.

Here are the hammer prices:

I'm grateful for the opportunity I now have to pursue another Porsche project!

Amazing collection, hopefully you made enough off of it to get 2 new projects!

I was drooling over the 356B luggage...Good thing I have an SC, or I'd have been tempted to bid more than I could afford :D

Milou, the space that you have created is simply phenomenal. Beyond being an amazing example of a Porsche time capsule collection i think others can use this as inspiration for their collection of whatever car company they are passionate about.
