I've had a Toro electric blower/vac for probably 10 years, very similar to the B&D mentioned earlier. I blow the leaves in piles then switch to the vac & cloth bag, been doing it for years. I've busted the plastic grates twice sucking up seed balls, and once lost a rotor blade, that's in over 10 years of use.
