Ok I have a Beacon Morris BRT75. It has been up and running for a year and a half. Recently noticed a wierd smell, thought it was a dead mouse (not so lucky),
Closer look the smell-gas is coming from what appeared to be furnace..

Called gas company after about 4 hrs they said it had to be furnace. However they could not find a leak at the furnace.
All gas lines from tank up to furnace do not leak.

I have a side wall horizontal vent pipe

Tech support says it could be valve, but they obviously can't make that determination over phone.

Has anybody had any experience w Beacon Morris valve problems.?
Thanks

Should I just replace the valve and call it a day.?

Soapy water test on all connections to look for bubbles.

Keep the place aired out until you get this figured out . . or if necessary shutoff the gas supply. Be careful but get that fixed !!
