Hey guys just wondering what kind of leakdown testers you guys have/use. Last christmas i got a OTC leakdown tester and i was very dissapointed with the quality of it, i felt as though i could have built it after one trip to lowes. Any who the tester was stolen early this fall out of my garage with some other stuff. I am looking to purchase one soon.

BTW I love this site, so much good info here

My old man uses the ProForm leakdown tester, has for a long while now. I believe they are a bit more pricey than OTC, but are very good quality.

You can pick one up at Amazon for less then $75, there is one listed at ebay a few bucks cheaper but they only have two left.

I have a MAC one, which is probably a OTC unit relabeled. Seems to work perfect for me.

There isn't really much to them, any quality brand name like OTC, MAC, Snap on etc etc will work, just depends on what you want to spend on them.
