Leaking air relief valve?

Can anyone confirm what this leak is and if this is an urgent fix or something that an HVAC contractor can be called tomorrow for? It looks like a valve that would normally bleed off extra air?? It is spraying water. We are in the Northeast and have had extreme cold - but the basement has stayed warm.

Thanks for any feedback.

Turning the cap did not stop the leak. Any other thoughts on how to 'band aid' til the AM? Tried turning off the system but not a real good option as it is still pretty cold - collecting the water in a garbage can so no worries there.

Thanks so far to all who posted.

are there any other auto vents on the system you could rob the cap from. Or if you have a metal cap with a stem remover on any tires or bikes out in the shop that might work better than a plastic one

A wack with the pliers seems to have fixed it - maybe it was a stuck valve - anyway thanks again.
