Hi, not garage related but....

I have some leaking metal gutters. I know that leaves and debris can cause all types of problems but for now I would like to ask...

What is your go to sealant for filling a seam that is leaking?

Thank you.

Do not use silicone. Get actual gutter seam seal. Clean the area really well removes any old sealant and loose caulk use alcohol and get it fully dry. Then apply the seam sealer. It will never leak again

I collect old plastic business cards, the stuff that comes in the mail too. Use that over seam sealer and it will stop the leak for many years. Rust never stops, however it will continue to bubble and peel when you paint it etc..
