Leaking pressure washer

Hi,
I have a Powerwasher (1600psi) S/N 100413294, which we haven't used in a couple of years. When we took it out, we found that it leaks from the handle. I opened it and saw that it's leaking at one of the connections (picture attached). The fit doesn't seem to loose, and I'm having trouble finding O rings, so I'm wondering if there might be a more obvious reason for the leak before I go hunting for O rings. The picture shows the handle opened. The orange piece is part of the clamp I used to keep it from coming apart when I turn on the water. This leak appears even before I turn on the pressure unit.
Any help is appreciated.

If it froze and cracked. But from the picture looks more like a seal. Have you taken it apart?

I would take it apart further to see what's up. it's no good now, you can't make it any worse . quite possibly an o-ring, but you still need to know the size

Oh yes, I have taken it apart. The O rings 'look' ok, but they're hard to find, so maybe I have to try sealing it in some way, just to see if chasing down O rings is worth the trouble. Goop might work?

Indeed. I've been giving that serious consideration. I imagine that there are generic wands to be had, other than hunting down the specific wand for this unit?

Yes, and that's the problem getting the right size O rings. I was thinking about Gooping it together, but I believe that this part has to slide, so that the water can be turned off and on with the trigger; but hey using the power button on the pressure unit, could be an option, since we rarely use it.

Absolutely. I'd imagine the hose end fittings are all the same at least from what I've seen / experienced. Some a quick disconnect as well.

If the plastic hasn't cracked on those pieces, and it just needs an o-ring... then head over to Harbor Freight or Amazon and buy an o-ring kit in metric or SAE (whichever your wand uses). Otherwise,.. new wands are ~$30

Hi,
I have discovered the source of the leak. There's a hairline crack right next to the mold line on the black tube that connects to the white nylon flow restrictor (my term). If you look at my previous image you'll see the piece. I'm including a picture of the crack. I dried it by blowing air throw the crack, after attaching a large syringe to one end and blocking the other; then I sucked super glue into the crack. It seems to be sealed; but I'll put it back together tomorrow and find out.

Ace Hardware is a great place to buy o-rings. They're usually in the area of loose fasteners or the plumbing section.

Yes, I was wondering about the hose connection. It looks like a press fit. I'll go over to Princess Auto, if the super glue bond doesn't work.

Yes, odd you should mention those. I was looking at them earlier, before I attempted the gluing; but wasn't sure which one would work, i.e. would I have to use part of the existing setup, which would fit my hose, etc.

Be aware that the center part of the M22 threaded quick connect center is a different diameter between the gas (M22 14mm) and electric (M22 15mm) units. I think this is so you can't use a lower pressure wand from an electric unit on a gas unit. The push style quick connects seem to be generic except for the size (1/4 vs 3/8).
