I have no idea what I am doing or if I'm doing anything right, but just wanted to say HELLO to all of you and maybe someone can guide me and or tell me how The Garage Journal works. thanks bootmaker
Welcome to the forum, i'm somewhat new to the site myself. I would recommend you take some time to familiarize yourself with the site, check out the different categories and threads within them. You can get pretty lost in this site for hours, there are countless posts of information and pictures. I often find myself spending a lot of time in the "garage gallery".

Go up to the black bar at the top of the page and click on, " FAQ". Then select your desired information.
My first piece of advice is for you to post in the "Introduce yourself" thread located under "general garage discussion".
No need to do that now, I have moved this thread to that location.
Welcome to GJ. How it works, you're about to become a GJ addict, you'll be buying more tools that you ever thought were possible, which will require a larger toolbox and then a larger garage to put that new toolbox in.
Stay away from politics, religion, name calling and leave your **** elsewhere. You might want to edit your profile (User CP) and add a general location. This will help your fellow members give you more accurate information when you ask questions.
