Leather Tool Pouch Conditioning

I picked up this tool pouch this evening. It looks to be a few years old but never used. The darker leather could use some conditioning as it is a bit dry, the lighter leather seems fine. Any tips on how to condition this and soften it up a bit?

When I played baseball I used shaving cream to break the gloves in then used mink oil to condition and lubricate the leather.

Yep. Mink oil or neatsfoot oil.

Many light coats as it needs to breathe to soak in. Do not drench.

And for dirty leather clean first with saddlesoap.

Obenauf is the best for leather but 60% bees wax and 40% paraffin mixed with a little turpentine to thin it. is and ole time loggers recipe for tin cloth that just happens to work great on leather

3X, neatsfoot is good stuff and old standard. Various brands of leather conditioner can also be used, which are usually neatsfoot or similar oils. Also works good for leather covered books every 10 years or so and baseball gloves, wallets, belts, etc! - Paul

I bought some neatsfoot oil. Hopefully it will help.
