I bought a pair of these last month at the local Costco. Tremendous bright light output compared to the 4 foot T-12 florescent tubes I had in a fixture. These LED tubes are supposed to work in any fixture type with no changes in wiring or ballast.

Can you bypass the ballast for these as well? I know some of them will work both ways, but I can't find any information about this one.

I ended up buying 6 boxes last time I was at Costco (12 tubes). I am very pleased with the results. I replaced some older Sylvania Daylight 40 watters with these and they are MUCH brighter and only use 17 watts each. Plug and play, no flickering, noise or anything else.

The old tubes were about 1 1/2" in diameter - the new ones are 1"
