LED colour choice...

So, I'm turning my thoughts to lighting now on my build. I'd appreciate anyone's input on what colour they've chosen for LED strip lighting and how you've actually found it/if you're happy with the choice.

The last time I did a lighting install was 25 years ago with T12 fluorescents and the tubes were just "white" lol!! There's almost too much choice today.

I'm currently thinking 4000k is about right for a garage/workshop...

4000K and 5000K are both good choices for garages. 5000K is the most popular with people on this forum. You cant really go wrong either way. It's just your preference.
Make your evaluations, not by looking right at the lights, but by the way they make the area around them look.

My high bay fixtures are 27k lumen fixtures and in 5000k. That nets me a very nice light and just over 100 f/c at the floor

4000K and 5000K are very common color for high bay lighting sold into commercial spaces. 5000K being slightly more common.

But....now I'm having a craving for some good ol' English breakfast sausage....

Agree.....it's the best meal the brits make.....but I'll pass on the black pudding....never did develop a liking for it....but love Marmite

Oh....BTW.....my wife is English.....(Preston area)
