LED flashlights for landscape lighting

I've acquired numerous Harbor Freight LED flashlights and would like to use them (modified) as landscape lighting.

I currently have a low voltage outdoor lighting set up that puts out 12 volts (a.c.), the flashlights run off 3 volts d.c. What's the best way to make this happen?

I do not want the entire run to be at a lower voltage, rather, I would like to do it at each fixture. Any advice would be appreciated.
