I have had a few over the years, as a dusk to dawn light I am getting 4-5 years out of them, before the ac-dc adapter dies. One that I bought that was a warm white color the coating on the leds faded and became more bright white, now for my outdoor lights I have LED par30 flood lights about $2.98 each at the local Home Cheepo and fit in to many different housings

Anyone running any of these cheaper LED flood lights from Amazon?

Something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JB12F02/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I am using the 10w versions of them. One is 110v that I have wired to a photocell for dusk to dawn operation. The other is 12v that I have connected to my landscape lighting, also on dusk to dawn. They have both be in operation for a year or so with no issues.

110v: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006STWHE4/?tag=atomicindus08-20

12v: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008XZAPV8/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I have 8 of them inside (As shop lights). 14' high around the inside perimeter of a 30'x48' building. 2 more are going outside soon. No problems whatsoever.

Well now you've got me thinking about replacing the crappy fluorescent lights in my garage/shop with these. Something to think about.

I came across them with the idea of using them as flood lights on the exterior of my shop/house. Then one of the reviews I read, a guy was lighting a 24x36 with them and I went "Hmmmm...." :)
