Looking for any suggestions for a good LED floodlight bulb to use in ceiling can light fixtures. I currently use 75w incandescent bulbs, but would like to swap to LED. I have about 30 fixtures throughout my house.

Thanks

The proper bulb for that is a BR30.
Found in any big box store. (technically not called a flood light)

As cybrdyke said, BR30 is the bulb you want.

When you go shopping for the bulbs, don't just look at the box and see if it says "75 watt equivalent" or "65 watt equivalent" or whatever.

You want to look at the amount of lumens the LED bulb will be putting out, as well as the color temperature of the bulb.

Incandescent bulbs are normally what is referred to as soft white in color (or something similar), and they are usually around 2700K to 3000K in color temperature.

A standard 75watt incandescent BR30 bulb is somewhere in the 750 lumen range.

So make sure the LED bulbs you buy are the correct lumens and the correct color for you.

I just changed mine and went with the 'Daylight' output. It is way brighter than the previous bulbs were, and uses much less electricity.
