I have the idea of using LED floodlights for inside illumination of the garage. Maybe using 4-6 lamps of 20 or 30w a piece. Good idea? and has anyone done this?

Input appreciated :)

We are using them to replace halogen bulbs in the can lights in our kitchen. They are brighter than the PAR 30 halogens, the light is whiter (cooler), and in general we like them. We buy the Feit bulbs at Costco. I've been thinking about them for my shop too. They are 10 feet up in the kitchen. The shop would be 15-20'.
