Thanks to all who chimed in on my 4' LED question about clear lens or milky/frosty lens.

I went with the milky/frosty lens, and although I only have 14 bulbs installed, I'm quite happy with the lamps choice.

So far, I've only gotten 16 bulbs in the ceiling of the main shop. Very happy at this point. Ordering more lamps and when completed, there will be a total of 60 bulbs. It's a 1700 square foot area, with office, so will take me a while to complete. Don't see a brand name but the box says "LED Series T8 tube".

6000K CCT (Color Temp) is more towards the colder blue spectrum. Not sure what CCT you had in there before. I generally recommend 5000K or 4000K. Your list is missing lumen output. I'd be cautious buying lamps on eBay. I like to see UL (CSA or ETL) with actual file number, DLC, CRI and a brand. If you're happy with them and they last 50,000+ hrs, then you got a great deal. If not, then you got what you paid for.

Don't know how many hours they might last. I also don't know if paying more $$ would equate to a better product. Made in China, so will just have to see how it works out. Perhaps it's simply a **** shoot. Thanks for your input.

Yeah, most are made in China, but they're not all created equal. Best any of us can do is verify NRTL and DLC Listings. Lamps in the $4 ea. range usually don't have either.
