So I am going to be basically rewiring my back pole barn this coming year and a change of lighting is high on the list of priorities. What I have now in old t12 commercial fixtures is adequate for storage but not at all for working in the area that my car lift is installed in. This building is just under 14' to the bottom of the rafters, is that to low for this type of light?

No it's not, from reading posts here 12 feet is about the minimum for high bays, I'm using them in my shop, ceiling is 12.5 ft.

Lotsa good info on this site, just do some clicking around.

I ordered my lights like 6 months ago and am just finally got to installation.
The lights looks good whitemamba! Thanks for sharing the finished photos.

I'm curious as to how you mounted the lights to your trusses. Any chance you could get a photo of the mounting set up next time your up there..?
