Led High Bay Quality and Mount Preference

Hi folks, I'm close to making a decision on lighting for my newest building. I've gotten a layout from a online retailer. I have also read a great deal here along with other chat forums and videos of many shop layouts via YouTube. I have a couple questions. I'm going with 2' Led High Bays, 95-110 watt, 5000k and a dimmer.

Is there any noticeable difference in quality of lights from the more common internet offerings, Earthtronics, Diva, Lumegen, James, etc?

What's the preferred method of mounting? I'm interested in the pendant mount but the supplied chains would work.

Thanks

I just had my new shop wired. I used the 2' LED high bay fixtures. Mine was mounted from the chains about 12" below the structure. I was looking at hard mounting but my electrical contractor who is a commercial / industrial contractor recommended using the chains. His idea was that with them mounted from the chains if they get bumped they will give and not break. A couple other electrical contractors had the same recommendation.
You will really like the LED fixtures. I did an over kill with 24 fixtures in a 30 by 60 shop.

None of those manufacturers are common. All of them represent a lower tier of quality, so there is no noticeable difference between any of them. That doesn't mean that you wont find them acceptable for your requirements. But dont spend too much time trying to figure out which one is better.
Your electrician is correct about the chains.
Good luck,
CD

When I was researching, the only difference I found was the price and how long the warranty was. Mine are the Earthtronics, 10 year warranty.

Hang them from chains, the surface mount brackets are extra.

I originally thought about a dimmer also but decided not to run the extra circuit. Mine are perfect at full blast.
