LED Layout Opinions

I have viewed many of the threads on this site in hopes of finding someone with a similar layout to my garage but have yet to find one close to my setup in terms of geometry or layout.

I recently moved into a home with a 20'x22' garage space. There is built in shelving along both walls (about 15" deep). The man door into the house is centered on the front wall. lighting is currently terrible (one CFL with a 4 foot dual T8 fixture daisy chained off of it). I have eight four foot Feit LED shop lights at my disposal and was thinking about laying them out as shown in the attachment. Parking is really tight with two cars in the garage at the same time, thus, only one car at a time will be in the garage when being worked on.

I am hoping to get opinions on if you think this layout will work for me or if you have better ideas. Also, I am open to purchasing additional fixtures if needed.

Maybe you could hang 2 fixtures in the proposed location and see. My only concern would be shadows out at the edges of the walls. The light in the work area would be great though I think.

You may even take those two center lights, from front to back, and move them closer to the wall. That way on summer nights you could leave the door up and still have decent light from the front and sides.

Just seems like a lot of lighting so close together.

I think you are going to have an issue when using the bench, having the lights behind you will cast a shadow and you won't be able to see what you are working on.
