Ok, so its not in my garage but... Kitchen ceiling light with a bunch of little LEDs went out. Was told the driver must have gone bad. Installed new driver and it worked for a couple weeks and went out again! Not familiar with these new fangled lights but what good are bulbs that last for a century if other parts ****? Am I missing something here???

You're not missing anything.
Drivers are the weak link. Especially in really cheap fixtures.

What you paid is, sadly, sometimes unrelated to the quality. While many like to repeat "you get what you pay for', ive always thought that was a retarded line....

What are the details on the fixture? mfg, model, etc. How is it wired? on off? Dimming? What controller/switch (if dimming) are you using?
